It’s a revolutionary strong hold styling gel that marries long-lasting definition with a lightweight, water-thin texture - helping keep frizz at bay even in the most extreme weather conditions.

All types of curls, waves and coils. Because of its lightness it’s fantastic for fine hair - but it works on all textures and densities just by adjusting the quantity used.
HOW TO USE IT
Use on soaking wet hair. Divide your hair in sections to get a stronger hold. Rake it evenly through your curls, smooth down with your palms and scrunch to help curls spring up. Diffuse for best results.
WHAT NO ONE TELLS YOU
The crunchier your hair becomes while it dries, the longer your definition and frizz control will last. But don’t worry, it’s just temporary: once the hair is fully dry, you can gently scrunch it to make it soft again.

Think about our Styling Water as the All Weather Gel on steroids. It offers stronger hold, longer lasting definition and even better weather protection. This comes with a stronger crunchy cast though, so if you prefer a more flexible, natural-looking result, you may like our standard gel better.
Is it suitable for fine hair?
Absolutely! This weightless texture is PERFECT for fine strands - it doesn't weigh them down and it holds the bounce for longer.
Will it make my hair crunchy?
Yes, but that's what you need! Crunch is CRUCIAL for curl definition. It is what sets the curls in place and gives you a style that lasts multiple days. But don't worry, it's only temporary. Once your hair is fully dry, you just need to gently scrunch it to release the cast and reveal soft, bouncy curls.
Is it better on wet or damp hair?
We always recommend applying all your leave-in products on soaking wet hair. The water helps disperse them more evenly so you'll get a more consistent result without over-applying.
How much gel should I use?
It can depend on many variables - particularly your hair density and its length. We always recommend to start with a dime size per section, and add more as you go until you feel the hair a bit slimy.
Does it contain Sulfates, Silicones or Parabens?
No, this product doesn't contain any sulfates, silicones or parabens.
Is it Curly Girl Friendly?
Yes, all our products can be used if you follow the Curly Girl Method.
I have sensory overload, can I use it?
Of course! If slimy textures give you discomfort, there are a few tips to mitigate it.
- apply the product using gloves
- keep a robe on during application and until your hair is dry, so it never touches your back
- diffuse instead of air drying, so the sensation will disappear a lot quicker
